I'm following Eudora document ID #919HQ for how to set up multiple users on one machine. Step #4 tells you to put the alias of MySettings file in the Apple Menu Items folder in the System folder.
With Mac OS 10.5.8 there is no System folder and no Apple Menu Items folder. So where does the Settings alias go. It used to be that when you clicked on the Apple in the upper left corner you would have all the mailboxes showing there. Obviously, that doesn't work anymore. It's also a matter of which item do we use to drag into the dock so that we can click on the item to have the mailbox open without having to go to the Documents Folder. |

Desktop will do or the Dock or the finder window tool bar . . . You should though rename each alias. |
