Hi All,

Sorry to have missed my own thread. I didn't know all this was going on. Thanks for all your replies. This header stuff is all new to me, so excuse my newbeeness. In looking in Prefs > Boring Headers, I see there is already a fairly long list of items. Just to be certain, am I to assume that you all are adding to this list? If so, there are many X- items. Judging from the previous reply, we can eliminate all of them and just have one X- ? Is this filter case sensitive? I see there are X- and x- and also a x400.

So do I simply copy/paste some of the lists here?

And lastly, when you were talking about different fonts, are you saying that the font for the list of items in the Prefs > list has to be the same font as in the actual email? If so, what happens if you change your font in Display pref?

Default Success!

I think I've got it going now. I got success by just adding the 7 filters from Sensitivity to X-. From Content to the end were default settings. THere were a whole lot of X- too, which I deleted per this thread (thanks!).

This is great, thanks everyone!!

That's what "Content Concentrator" is supposed to do,
although on Macintosh, it only does so in the Preview Pane
(when you happen to use Windows Eudora, it can also work in any Message Window)

Default Hiding Headers

I have been surfing the threads about limiting the headers. I have seen the lists that need to be used, but I can't seem to find where to put them. Would someone be kind enough to guide me through the steps. Our emails have so many headers that a one line email takes a page and a half of space. We are using eudora version 5.0 on windows xp pro. Also, I am knew at this forum stuff, so I hope I am posting this properly.

Thanks

Default This is a Macintosh forum!

Your "Eudora for Windows" request
(which works differently than in Eudora for Macintosh)
was moved to an appropriate forum,
where it was already answered:

http://eudorabb.qualcomm.com/showthread.php?t=14359

By the way, the headers are "limited" only in their display on screen,
as they remain in the actual messages sent or received.

Re forum usage:

If you "subscribe" to threads that you start,
you will automatically receive any responses by email.

You can set your "Default Thread Subscription Mode" here, after logging in:
http://eudorabb.qualcomm.com/profile.php?do=editoptions

While displaying any existing thread, you can click on "Thread Tools"
to set or change your subscription to that thread.

If you need to update your email address:
