Default Paid Mode / Lost Code Numbers

I am a Paid Mode user of 6.2.4. In moving to new computers, i have lost my code. Now I have a message box that continues to vex me at the bottom of my screen and nothing i do makes it leave. How do i get rid of it?

Second question. How do i find the 'REDIRECT' icon for my toolbar? I don't know where it disappeared to.

Thank you. --Daiquiri St John <daiq1234>

Default Losing and finding registration names and numbers

Q: In moving to new computers, I have lost my code.

A: Besides simply displaying it on the old computer,
then manually entering it on the new computer,
another "official" way to recover it appears still functional:

http://eudora.com/techsupport/kb/2370hq.html
https://eudora-secure4.qualcomm.com/...e/lostcode.cgi
https://eudora-secure4.qualcomm.com/lostcode/lostcode.cgi

An unofficial way to obtain other working names and codes
is to simply search for a Eudora registration code,
on the internet or in newsgroup comp.mail.eudora.ms-windows (author "Froggie")

Note that registrations are good for either Windows or Mac versions,
and that you must use a name and code which go together.

It doesn't matter whether it's your name or not,
because the name is not used for any email functions.

It doesn't matter whether other people use the same code,
because Eudora doesn't "phone home" to count or log its use.

Qualcomm stopped accepting payments around April 2007, at which time
they even published a name and "Paid" code good for up to version 5.2.x,
and apparently have no current objection to your using any later codes
(there was once a potential liability to a third party
whose proprietary library was formerly distributed with Eudora for Windows,
but that library is no longer distributed, so that concern seems to have become moot).

"Difference between Paid and Sponsored Mode" (not much :)
http://www.eudora.com/techsupport/kb/2763hq.html

"Ultra-Fast Search" (version 7, Windows only) is no longer distributed,
so this leaves basically the Bayesian "SpamWatch"
and the disappearance of the small "Ad" window
(which is empty anyway, because there are no more ads)
as the only additional benefits of "Paid" mode.

I have tried to do as the replies have suggested. So far i have not found the button that says "I have lost my code"
There wasn't any pages on the website with any help for me. There was some mention of a list of paid numbers available for use. However, i haven't found them. Please
assist me here. Thank you. ---Daiq

See "Help" | "Payment & Registration" | "Enter your code" <- that's also a button!
(Eudora tech note #2370HQ neglects to mention this extra button, sorry)

As pictured on pages 23-24 of the Eudora 6.2.4 (Mac) manual,
downloadable from http://www.eudora.com/techsupport/manuals.html/

There is also a directly clickable link, in post #2 of this thread,
which goes even more directly to the "lost code retrieval" function
at Qualcomm, except that its server is currently down!
(Eudora tech note #2370HQ also contains the same direct link)

"I Can't Find My Registration Number"
http://eudora.com/techsupport/kb/2370hq.html <- tech note #2370HQ

Have you ever asked Google for a Eudora registration code ?
After all, neither teachers, professors, customer support, nor even parents
are any longer necessary, now that there's Google :)

See "To add a new button to the main toolbar"
on page 406 of the Eudora 6.2.4 (Mac) manual, downloadable from
