Alert announces "x Junk" recieved, but Junk Folder empty

The title pretty much sums it up. Not disasterous, but annoying - anyone else seen this behaviour? A bug?
Happens 3 or 4 times a month.... wonder what is kicking on the alert...

Perhaps you have a filter set that moves something into the trash from junk.

Or look at your Junk prefs.

You could check "warn before removing" and see if that tells you anything.

All seems ok - will change things to the way I *don't* want it, and see what happens...
