I've used Eudora on Mac for years, now under OS 10.5.8 with Eudora 6.2.4. I almost always find that when I archive an email that I've received with an attachment, by putting it in any of my mailboxes, that when I open it from the mailbox and wish to open that attachment that I find no attachment icon, and that when I scroll to the bottom of the email I find something like the following actual example:
Content-Type: application/octet-stream; name="AD - Intergral Yoga Catalog 2009 - 2010.pdf" Content-Description: AD - Intergral Yoga Catalog 2009 - 2010.pdf Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="AD - Intergral Yoga Catalog 2009 - 2010.pdf" Attachment converted: Macintosh HD:AD - Intergral Yoga #5E1B7A.pdf (PDF /«IC») (005E1B7A)[/INDENT] Then finding the attachment in the Attachment folder is often impossible. Is there a way to make Eudora save the attachment in the original form with the file icon in the email, so that opening it just requires opening the archived email and double-clicking the the attachment icon? It seems like all of my archived emails have the Attachment Converted verbiage once I reopen them. Thanks for any help! |
