Default adding new headers

How do I define what headers will my emails have? Specifically, I want to add a header 'Reply-to" which overrides the default reply address. How do I do this? Note, that I use Eudora 6.2 under OS X (not Windows). Thanks!

Look up "Extra Headers" in eudora.ini Settings in the Help file.

You can do it with an X Option:

<X-Eudora-Option:ExtraHeaders=Reply-To:donald@duck.org>

Copy that line and paste it in a new message in Eudora. Save the message. Alt-click the line and a "Change Option" window will appear. Before clicking OK you may want to edit the address in the "New Value" field.

Please bear with my ignorance. I copy the line to a new message and I alt-click, but I get a window prompting me to choose an application for the x-eudora-option. What am I doing wrong?

Oh, sorry. I now see that you have a Mac. You are in the wrong forum. I think that for a Mac you need Eudora Setting instead of Eudora Option. Better ask in the other forum.
