I had Eudora 6.1 working fine and decided to install 6.2. Now all my emails go to Inbox with not a single mail considered junk, even when the junk mail setting is the same I used before!!!
I have installed already several versions of Eudora in many PC and the same thing happened to me eventually. Sometimes the junk filter work and sometime it doesn't, and is not related to the version neither the PC. Can anybody tell me what to do to get the junk mail scores working again? Thanks |

Are you by chance running in Sponsored mode instead of in Paid mode? the Spam filter is a Paid-mode only feature.... Matt |

Yes, I am running the sponsored mode but I was also doing so when the junk mail filters worked properly in version 6.1

Hi,
I was running Eudora 6.1 in paid mode before upgrading to 6.2 and encountered a similar problem with SOME (NOT ALL) of the junk mail that used to be filtered out in 6.1 now appearing in my IN box after upgrading to 6.2. See email from Len Wesley that was posted today 12/19/2004. I selected/highlighted the junk mail that appeared in my IN box and classified it as junk almost all day. By this evening Eudors seems to be allowing fewer and fewer junk email through to my In box. Its as if it needed a little re-training. NOTE: All of this was/is in paid mode. --Len |

I upgraded from Eudora v 6.1 to 6.2.0.14, almost none of the junk mail has been filtered. I thought it may be a retraining issue, so left it, but this has been happening for weeks.
Is there something that can be done to repair my Junk Mail filter?
